A daily commitment to our environment, our clients, and our values
Our values are tangible
We believe in traceability and transparency as such, we share our path and results towards a green future.
Our yarns are fully traceable: it is possible for anyone to monitor our supply chain and follow the path of the yarns, from the origin of the raw material, along all the processing stages, which takes place entirely in Italy, up to the finished product.
We are customers of the electricity supply service from renewable sources with MULTIUTILITY, a certified national operator that promotes the use of clean energy coming exclusively from hydroelectric plants.
Photovoltaic
Since 2010 we have installed a large photovoltaic system on the roof of our company (134 kwp).
We are customers of the electricity supply service from renewable sources with MULTIUTILITY, a certified national operator that promotes the use of clean energy coming exclusively from hydroelectric plants.
Pure and beautiful yarns made from natural fibers and vegetable dyes.
Cotton, linen, wool, alpaca and silk are dyed with botanical dyes extracted from the roots, leaves and woods of the dyeing plants of Campeggio, Robbia, Castagno, Mimosa and Solidago with a completely sustainable technique.
A modern evolution of ancient knowledge: our vision of a circular economy.
Recycled fibers
Sustainable yarns that use regenerated raw materials.
These yarns are obtained from regenerated colored cotton fibers coming from textile scraps restored to their fiber state.
The recycled fiber is then reinterpreted with creativity in different subtleties and aspects.
Sustainable fibers
Naturally colored yarns, selecting the different shades of the Peruvian alpaca fleece, which does not undergo any treatment other than washing.
The natural color palette ranges from white, cream, gray brown, to black. The PET used is entirely recycled from post-consumer plastic bottles collected and treated in Italy, through a mechanical and non-chemical process.
Industria Italia Filati follows the thread of a cultural fabric, the industrial district of Prato, which has always stood out in the textile supply chain for its quality and now for its commitment to a sustainable future.
